Get Wealthy Farmer is a website/blog that is a source of info for everyday working people on building wealth.  Throughout the pages and blog the goal is to provide readers with real life practical ideas and articles on building wealth.  And also articles relating to agriculture/ranching and the great outdoors.

Get Wealthy Farmer was launched in August 2017 by myself.  I am a power engineer by trade and hobby rancher at heart.  And also quite a wide range of other hobbies upon which you will get to see as time goes on.  With a passion for building wealth and personal finance. However it was in 2011 that my desire really took off and I started to do something about it.

My childhood was much the same as any other farm kid basically I had chores to do animals to feed, stalls and coops to muck out.  But even then I had my ideas on how to get me my spending money.  My piggy bank back then was a Texaco Oil can made into a piggy bank.  Those things were great as the thought about trying to get money back out of them was a deterrent itself.  However in my adolescent years I can honestly say there wasn’t much saving going on let alone wealth building.  After high school grad I went straight to college and got a student loan.  Needless to say being away from home and left to all my own decisions it was free reign as far spending went.  Come out of college started working full time this spending trend continued for years.
