Well holiday season is upon us, lots of us are scrambling around like chickens chasing the last fly in the coop for a snack. Those of us able to plan ahead better and be organized are sitting back if on holiday break from work and sipping eggnog or whatever warms your belly on a cold winter’s day. Myself I am somewhere in the middle of all that while greatly ahead of my typical its the 21st of December and I haven’t got the gifts yet, I still do have a few stocking stuffer things to get. But by far I am pleased with making progress in not leaving the main shopping to last minute.
I have found a new love of the Christmas holiday season since entering a more managerial role of my career a few years ago, and that is the downtime, the pause that allows me to reflect on the past year and in some cases maybe further back. It is during this time that I find I come up with all sorts of ideas and topics to blog about. And yes you are correct if your thinking you have mentioned this before but still the posts seem few and far between. So as the title says its time to get back on track. The first order of business after this post will be to post the remaining months of this year’s dividend income from my stock investments. Dividend investing is still the major part of my passive income department. I would expect this to largely remain that way going forward as well. I do have a couple more iron’s in the fire so to speak that I will post about as well that are providing passive income.
My main objective with this post was to reach out to all of you and wish you all a very merry holiday season and I hope you all have safe travels and get some quality time with friends and loved ones as well as some well deserved down time for yourself.
With that I wish you all from the GWF household to yours a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!!!
