Grocery shopping and sticking to a budget for some these two concepts are not synonymous. This rings true for myself as well, it is way too easy as one is strolling down the aisle getting things from the list or budget to grab something not on the list. For various reasons it is has been proven don’t go shopping if your hungry. Also the convenience of just grabbing it off the shelf.
But some grocery stores offer a service giving you the ability to pre make your order online and then schedule a time for pick up where you will show up and your order will be ushered out on a cart. You then load it up into your vehicle and off you go.
This whole experience was new and foreign to me, and I approached it with some skepticism what would quality if produce be like, errors in brand type etc. the list goes on. However I can honestly say that I am presently surprised by the accuracy upon which the orders are filled. Now the service is not free for the grocer we use it costs $5 per order. But think about this how many times if you went in and aren’t disciplined enough to stick to your list or budget do you buy an item or two that will easily take you over that $5 amount, I am betting often.
The other thing this dos is free up time for yourself so if you find yourself always stretched on time this could be one way of freeing up some, no more standing in line ups, no more strolling down the aisle.
Will leave it for you all to decide but it does have a component of keeping you on budget, not wasting money on overspending on food as well as free up some time if time is that much of a commodity for you.
Enjoy your shopping till next aisle good night from GWF 🙂
