Uber experience for the win!!!!!

Well this past weekend Mrs. GWF and I had our first Uber experience as we were in Edmonton for a business trip involving a new venture. We were meeting with some prospective clients to discuss contracts etc. for leasing. So this meant 2 nights of hotel rooms and eating out. The first night we had supper with our prospective clients at a spot called Characters.  This was the first time for us being there and it was a unique experience the menu had some dishes that weren’t your typical fare and it was a nice change.  As far as the food went for me the most amazing thing were the Campfire S’mores highly suggest getting those if you ever go.

So the next day entailed meeting with some reps from a medical equipment supply company we met with them and looked at layouts, equipment choices, and also some furnishing designs all in all time well spent and lots of good info and ideas come out of it.  After a day us and another couple decided on going to the Melting Pot Edmonton.  We had been there once before and was a amazing experience but both us and the other couple knew we would be enjoying some barley sandwiches and some fermented grapes along with our what would be amazing food experience.  The idea of using Uber was brought up and I was like sure never done it before ourselves, the other couple had used it and had the app on their phone so they fired up and within 3 minutes a driver was waiting for us outside the hotel.  We got into the car and he took us to our destination along the way I had asked about how much it was and the other couple told me and was pleasantly surprised.  The fare was around 60% of what it would have been had we take a cab.

So almost 3 hours later and what was an amazing experience we paid our bill and was ready to leave so the app got fired up again and 5 minutes later a driver showed up this kind of service was amazing to me the timeliness of the drivers, their knowledge, and the cleanliness of both cars was great and also at a discount compared to regular cabs.  So in keeping with improving your personal finances definitely consider Uber as an option to keep your costs down if needing that kind pf public transportation.

UBER FOR THE WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
